I always drool at ice creams and ice pops. In my childhood days, ice pop cycle, ice cream cycle, as well as the cotton candy cycle, had passed my home every day and I could recognize the bells even though they were far away. My mom never allowed me or my sister to buy those things, as she was very much concerned about hygiene, and we often cried for that. But, I and my sister, somehow, managed to buy ice pops twice and guess what! it definitely tasted like heaven.
Since Orange is my favourite fruit, also my favourite flavour, I always bought orange ice pops. Mom is right! The ice pops we bought were unhealthy, made of cheap syrups and a ton of refined sugar, but tasted amazing. I never thought of the healthy version of the ice pops or I never realized that I could eat the ice pops again in my life because my body doesn’t allow sugar. One day, I saw a video from Shilpa Shetty Kundra in which she made healthy Orange Sunny Ice pops. I was immensely glad and immediately noted down the recipe. The recipe is simple and so easy to prepare. I’m sure that you will definitely like it.
- 2 medium-sized oranges
- 4 small carrots
- Honey (according to your taste)
- Ginger – 1 small cube
Blend the carrots and oranges separately and filter out the juices ( add ginger into any of those).
Mix both juices and add honey according to your taste! (If you want it unhealthy, you can definitely add sugar instead of honey )
Pour mixed juice into the ice pop mould and freeze it for at least 5 hours.
